The staff was exceptionally nice and immensely pleasant!
It was such great 4 days, would definitely return here. The location was awesome, approx 10-15 minutes' walk from Kloof Street.

The location was convenient, with nearby dining options and easy access to popular attractions. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast options each morning.
There were some minor issues with the room, such as a faulty air conditioning system and a drain that was slow to drain. the Wi-Fi signal in our room was weak and inconsistent.

Unbeatable location to explore Cape Town and brilliant service. It also was walking distance to the bay and a hill. Lovely and good room with soft bed and safe for safety measures.

Very friendly staff and personal attention.
Room size was too small, hence we felt a bit claustrophobic

The breakfast buffet at Derwent House was a delightful way to start the day. From the seasonal fruit to the buttery croissants and fine local cheeses, it provided a wide range of options to satisfy any palate. The collection of traditional African art pieces, sourced from Amatuli, added a unique and cultural touch to the hotel's decor. Each piece, from the Zanzibar door to the bronze leopards, told its own story and complemented the ambiance of the hotel. The Chef's Warehouse at Maison offered a Cape winelands-adapted version of the famous Bree Street classic. With tapas-for-two and a refined culinary approach, it provided a relaxed and satisfying dining experience. For those looking to experience authentic African cuisine, the African restaurant at Derwent House provided a real feel for Langa Township. With traditional grills and stews cooked in-house, it was a speciality not to be missed. The location of Derwent House in Cape Town's trendy Gardens/Tamboerskloof neighborhood was perfect. It was steps away from great bars, restaurants, and boutiques on Kloof and Bree Streets, as well as the vibrant nightlife of Long Street. Despite being in a lively area, it offered the peace and tranquility of a quiet residential neighborhood.
The room, although nicely done, was quite small.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and attended to.

The room was spotless & modern with storage space, a nice view, as example. The service was excellent throughout our stay. We didn't have time and didn't try the pool, however it was nice. Location: the hotel was very close to back-several good eateries, the best bars & restaurants and V & A Waterfront.

The rooms are comfortable with upscale bathrooms, and the breakfast is excellent with a variety of options to choose from. The staff are very welcoming and make helpful recommendations for things to do and see in the area.

Nothing, all great.

The view from the room was amazing, and the balcony was a great spot to enjoy the sunset. The staff was polite and prompt. The spa treatments were a great way to relax after a long day of exploring.
Our romantic escape was dampened by the loud construction noise that started early in the morning and continued throughout the day. The breakfast options were limited and the food was not very fresh.

When I first stayed, the staff kindly helped me with bug spray. This place suits me perfectly with everything I need: Wi-Fi, on-site car park, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, 24-hour security, bar/lounge area. No pets allowed, air conditioning, non-smoking rooms. I keep coming back for city breaks.
